Captured in a calm Seine river arm between Giverny and Pressagny. Hazy morning sun with some patches on the water thru the weaping willows. Ideal lighting conditions, close to what impressionist painters liked in this region some 80 years ago. Many wild swans are evoluting in this area, because they feel safe, nesting in one of the numerous isolated islands. Birds like herons, coots, wild geese, moorhens can also be found here... with some patience.

Très belle scène malgré qu'on perd les détails sur le corps du cygne. Une correction de -0.5EV aurait aidé un peu.

I think you have done very well on exposure any less would reduce the white purity of the mother. The water dark tone makes the contrast of the swan stand out.

You have caught nature at its best here. Your title seems ideal too. Giverny is a beautiful part of France, near Monet's garden. TFS.
