Walking on the bridge, a photo from Haute-Normandie, North

Photographer's Note

What I like with the "Pont de Normandie" is that it's possible to walk on it.

It's an interesting walk, upon the Seine River, just before it reaches the sea. You discover a great landscape and you can admire the impressive architecture of the place.

I was lucky to succeed in realising that shot without car, because there are always a lot, especially during that week end !

Bonjour Stéphane,
la perspective est saississante, tu l'as bien capturée cette altitude et le format de la photo, haut et étroit accentue encore l'impression.
Une photo diffcile à avoir nette partout à la limite tu aurais pu tenter une onverture plus petite.

C'est une photo surprenante et bien construite, et en fin de compte assez lisible. J'aime bien la répétition des lampadaires sur la gauche, et le fait que la composition soit asymétrique. J'aurais peut être laissé un peu plus de la route, qui aurait pu renforcer la symbolique du pont.

A very impressive composition of lines and rhythm. The different angle of slant makes it very pleasing visually. The lamps provided interesting contrast and helped to lead us to the other side of the bridge. Beautifully seen and captured!! Have a nice day.

I like this shot better than the first one from here. Your POV was excellent; it emphasises the size of the bridge, even though we can't see the top. Well done for shooting without a car in sight

Hi Stephane, I like the almost abstract pattern created by all these cables. It seems very balanced with the near cables all leaning towards to right but with the most obvious of the far cables leaning left. They fill the space between and make compensating lines across the image.

I really like this portrait format of the bridge. The sense of depth here is well experienced. Your little slice of roadway is artistically superb. One has a sense of being in the driver's seat of the car! Well done.

C'est une photo qui déroute et qui donnerait le vertige, Stéphane.
On cherche un point de repère parmi toutes ces lignes et on finit par trouver la chaussée. Le graphisme est excellent. C'est le POV qui fait l'originalité du cliché.
