L’enfance s’estompe lentement
Et l’avenir s’avance, incertain et encore flou
Des sentiments violents et incontrôlables se heurtent dans ma tête
Je passe en un instant de la joie la plus complète au désespoir le plus profond
Je ne sais pas encore très bien qui je suis, ni ce que je veux
Et je grade en moi l’espoir fou et encore intact, de pouvoir contrôler ma vie et de changer le monde.

Cette photo a été faite sans trépied,le flou qui s’est créé autour de la jeune fille symbolise la contradiction entre la réalité et les rêves. Les 5 secondes de pose n’étaient pas volontaires,j’avais juste oublié de faire les réglages,voulant être trop rapide !

The childhood becomes blurred slowly
And the future advances, uncertain and still vague
Some violent and unverifiable feelings collide in my head
I pass in an instant of the most complete enjoyment in the deepest despair
I don’t know very well , whom I am, nor what I want
And I have in me, the crazy and still never undamaged hope, to be able to control my life and to change the world

This photo has been done without tripod,the blur that was created around the yound girl symbolizes the contradiction between the reality and the dreams.I didn’t want the 5 secondes of exposition,I had just forgotten to do the adjustements,because I wanted to be fast!

Superbe portrait. On ressent toutes les interrogations de la jeune file sur sa vie future dans ce regard qui s'échappe. Très beaux tons d'image. Et bravo au modèle...5 s de pose et pas un cil qui bouge ou alors le stabilisateur de l'objectif est super performant!

Salut Pascale,

it's in the simplicity that sometimes the results are better than trying to get the best settings for the picture. The colors of this image combined to the blurried halo that surrounds this girls makes the photo being like a painting...filled with expression, emotions and life

Un très beau portrait, accompagné d'une non moins jolie note.
Le regard rêveur de cette jeune femme illustre parfaitement tes mots.
L'effet que tu as obtenu involontairement est bluffant. Tout s'accorde pour évoquer cette période de trouble indispensable...

Comme quoi, même à partir d'erreur ou d'oubli, on arrive à faire de superbes choses ;o))
Ce flou donne une superbe ambiance à ce cliché et il est d'autant plus étonnant que la jeune fille reste parfaitement nette malgré les 5s de pose.

Hello Pascale,

A really superb portrait shot of a young girl who looks so familiar, and I think I have met her too. Am I wrong? The softness around her sharp pretty face and hands works out very well for you, and the tones of red on her head dress, scarf and blur BG is so effective.

Yes, being a teenager is a tough year for many of them, they think they know alot when they don't, they too old to listen to their parents for advise, too young to know it themself, too proud to ask for help, they end up lost in direction, it's time their at the folks of the road with many way to take and it's tough one to make we all have been there, I wouldn't want to be at that age again, I thought of suice many times myself, Okay, I'm going on too much here. The photo, beautiful, with a very interesting personality, beautiful expression, love the red tone. Excellent casual portrait shot. Thanks

J'aime beaucoup ce portrait qui me fait un peu penser "aux années folles" ;) j'ai d'abord crû que tu avais fait un PP sur le flou à l'arrière, mais en lisant le note je comprends mieux...Les teintes de couleur sont superbes!

L'effet est saisissant. J'aime cette unité dans les tonalités, et tous ce foulards rouges comme autant de révoltes qui virevoltent dans cette tête. Joli cadrage, très légèrement décentré, c'est vraiment un boulot parfait de qualité et de sensibilité.
Un commentaire qui résume bien cette période de la vie.

I could not believe you on 5s without tripod; surely you had some support. If you can do that, please teach me the techinique :)

I like the warm tone of the lighting and the red scarf and headband. What was she looking at by turning her eyes sideway?

I photographed this girl on a Kuching boat over sunset and if I had good French I could shoot many more of this model.

One question I wished to ask - did you look like this too?

Turned out to be a good 'idea' photograph, with the contradiction you talk about. The red is very eye catching, but how on earth did you manage 5 seconds without a tripod!! Well done!

Pour un ratage... c'est une performance....
et les mots que tu y a adossés sont parfaits pour décrire ce trouble qui finalement est diaphane sur la pdv.
PS/ j'ai fait une fois un portrait de jeune femme dans la foret de Dreux et il m'a été retiré (type studio...?) or il y avait (en moins talentueux) une certaine parenté avec le tien.
