Hello, always to Fecamp, it finds a Chapel perched in the top of the cliff (Norman tradition surement). In here is a distant sight to take advantage of it completely.

At about the year 1000, Robert le Magnifique was offshore on a boat. There was a storm. He prayed and promised to make build 3 chapels if he was saved. And so the chapel of Our Lady of the Safety(Salute) was built to Fécamp. It is an ex-voto, as well as the chapels of Caen and Honfleur. We saw the other ex-voto inside the chapel: there were paintings(boards) of painting representing boats, statues, patches, and models. Over the altar, there is a virgin and a child Jesus which have the black face. Formerly, it was also a place of pilgrimage: sailors' families went(took) up a road trés stiff on the knees up to the chapel. This road always exists: his name is the path to sailors. The chapel is a bitter.

Salut Gaetan,

Jolie compo.
Amitiés et bon dimanche.

Hello Gaetan, nice and clear architecture photo and good looking chapel!

TFS and regards,

Philip

Bonsoir Gaetan,

Roger
