Photographer’s Note
some lines on this fields attracted my eyes, don't know why the farmer didn't used the usual straight way
an interesting landscape in my tastes, a landscape where there is quite nothing, but at the same time a landscape with interesting line details
one of the best of the series I did that day with this one, because I liked the lighting... i was waiting clouds' shadows effects.
on the linked sister photo, someone find an explanation: "I sometimes do this when I cut my grass:) Maybe he just wanted it to look more decorative"
so maybe farmers have also a taste for aesthetic

Bonjour JC,

Hi Jacques!
Wonderful shot and perfect framing. This is the way to make something of artistic even from something of usual.

Hello JC,
A fine light to show off these golden fields to perfection. The unusual lines add to the interest and are complemented by the tower of bales judicially placed.

Hi JC,
So simple, but so nice. Strong lines in the composition with a great play with light and shadow over the fields. Timing and a good eye is the basis for these kind of pictures....very nice, i like such images a lot.

Bonjour JC
c'est vrai que toutes ces lignes dans le champs sont intéressantes et donnent de beaux dessins dans la monotonie habituel des champs, bien vu.

Sometimes there need not be complex features to make very impressive graphical impact on the visual and this is a simple photo to demonstrate it, the lines and color tone of the field is simply soothing to the eye and the way you have composed the shot tells a great skill in seeing the vision of such a natural field.
To appreciate the nature's beauty, the presentation by the photographer is what this is all about to make it work, in style. Especially by including a standing up stack out of flat plain field, and placing it just right. I see a little tilt of the ground level at the top but I will not call it the horizon :)
Superb work! And I wish I can see this kind of field in Malaysia one day.

JC,
The lines created by the cutting pattern of the field is great. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and detail. The blue sky provides nice contrast to the yellow of the field. The hay stack is well placed and attracts the eye.

hello Jean-Christophe,
I like this photo a lot, fascinating patterns and soft light fit well the idea of harvest month, while emphasis on horizontal lines create a feeling of wide open space. the tree is just the right accent to keep the scene from becoming boring. very well seen and presented, my compliments.
best,
Kristine

Bonjour JC
A wonderful warm cold colour contrast, between the yellow hay & grass, & the blue sky, in this superb pastoral scene. I like the patterns, in the contoured & mowed fields. Beau travail, et amicalement!

Bonjour JC,
Celà ressemble à un tissu écossais sans les couleurs. Le point de vue et le cadrage sont visiblement soigneusement choisis. Cette butte douce est agréable et le "I" de bottes de paille la ponctue joliment. C'est bien vu et réalisé avec art. Bravo.
Bonne journée

Hi JC,
indeed most intriging yet wonderful pattern that creates fantastic landscape scenery, enhanced by shining light that brings out the golden glow in comparison to aerial blue sky.
Vertical hay stack makes perfect accent and two horizontal lines of black frame perfect presentation.
my best regards,
jeri
