| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The 'faux' trees of Verzy are listed in the Lonely Planet top five of natural curiosities in France.
These dwarf mutant beech trees have grown in all their stunted glory around Reims and Champagne since the 6th century and are protected today by the Parc Naturel Régional de la Montagne de Reims.
The forest of Verzy is a great place for a peaceful autumn walk.
This is my second Verzy picture. A bit more experimental on the saturation than the first one. I'm curious to find out if you like the result. |

Hej Benny!
I like this image, it's very decorative the branches makes an excellent pattern. maybe a bit better DOF to keep it together .
Cheers//Anders
Hi Benny,
I was struck by all three of your dwarf beech tree series but I particularly like your worm's-eye viewpoint in this photo and no. 1. In this one I also like the nicely saturated colours and the shape of the tree branches that make it almost look like a reflection in rippling water. The overall effect is slightly surreal and very attractive.

Dag Benny,
TFS
Wolf
excellent low POV, one of the best shot i've seen of that place
fine framing
the OE is looking good here :)
