Photographer’s Note

The vineyard of the large mountain of Reims to the foot of the mill of Verzenay... The vintage passed since the preceding photograph of the same subject and the vineyard is avoided of a multitude of beautifuls colors before dropping their sheets and starting the winter.

Les souvenirs que j'ai de la Champagne sont ceux de grands espaces aux reliefs très doux. Je les retrouve bien ici. Les couleurs de novembre ajoutent à la douceur. Un peu plus de contrastes dans le ciel et l'arrière plan améliorerait sans doute l'image mais 'PixelTerror' y a été un peu fort à mon goût.

This kind of scenery can't get much better. I suppose only some attractive detail in front (a fence post or an old tractor) coukd have added to it. The windmill on the hill is in exactly the right place - which meant that you also were.

I vigneti sono un argomento ricorrente nelle tue foto, e questo scatto è quello che preferisco (a proposito, perchè non ne fai un tema ? Contribuirò volentieri! (...anche se astemio...))
Mi piace moltissimo il colore, anzi la sequenza dei colori che culmina con il mulino in alto. Un posto bellissimo che hai reso
magnificamente. Devo proprio venire a visitare Reims!

Salut Jean Marie ! Les vignobles sont argue récurrent dans tes photos, et ce déclenchement est ce que je préfère (à propos, purquoi n'en fais pas craint ? Je contribuerai volontiers ! (... même si abstème...)) Il me plaît très beaucoup de la couleur, au contraire la séquence des couleurs qui culminent avec le moulin en haut. Une place très belle que tu as rendu magnifiquement. Je dois vraiment venir à visiter Reims ! Tu complimentes

Merci pour tes appréciations
La photo que tu affiches est réussi et ces ocres jaune, rouge, sont très denses.
Pour ma part j'aurais retiré deux tiers de la masse qui se tient en bas de la photo (mais c'est un avis strictement personnel)

Ah quelles sont belles nos vignes avec leurs teintes d'Automne ! (on se comprend ...)
J'aime beaucoup la composition avec le hameau/moulin et bien sûr les teintes dorées des vignes.
Mais je trouve le premier plan (légèrement sombre par rapport au reste de la vue) un peu trop présent ... je verrais bien un format panoramique pour ce cliché, pour illustrer ma suggestion, j'ai tenté un WS.

One of the most fruitful times for those who like rich colours:-) Interesting play of sun and shade, Jean Marie. I would, may be, make sky a little less cyan - but this is my personal taste:-)

Lovely landscape. The colors are captivating as well the composition. The placement of the buildings is very nice.

I think a closer view of them would make an even stronger photo because that mill is very interesting. Perhaps advancing (or zooming) enough to eliminate that green part at the bottom and put the village closer.
