Photographer’s Note

colors are so so, I had to correct the color balance as my camera is very bad when the light is low... and I plan to come back and do the same shot with better light
this composition is a tribute to Giorgio Mercuri aka giorgimer, the TE member who share the most with me the same love of field photos

Hello JC,

Une vue qui comporte peut-être un peu moins de contraste que les autres mais qui montre un décor toujours très graphique aux lignes très fortes.

encore un bel exemple de lignes et de couleurs lumineuses,il est impossible de voir que la lumière n'éatit pas bonne!J'aime le petit arbre seul dans cette immensité champêtre!

Well, I like the colours. They complement each other very pleasingly. And the lines and angles are superb. Plus the lonely tree and the few poles. It's a gorgeous picture, very simple but capturing the light superbly as if done by a painter.

JC, I like this one, the distance softens the detail and the tree and poles add a sense of depth. Fine presentation.

I guess I can't give you too many points for originality here, Jean-Christophe, but it's very well executed. You chose a composition with a lot of grace and flow about it. I think it might be even better if you cropped 1-2 cm from the bottom, because that darker area dominates a bit too much. Regards, Ken.

Bonjour JC,
ces prises dans cadrages serrés sur les champs sont toujours très attractives, et je crois que tu les fais parfaitement, avec une touche créatrice et artistique, qui se voit dans le résultat: pur graphisme.
J'aime aussi la géométrie des lignes sur les champs et ses patrons variés de couleur.
L'arbre solitaire est un grand bonus dans la compo.
C'est un beau travail.

Your pictures from the fields surprise me, again & again! All are wonderful in their own individual rights...this one as well. The lone tree acts as a strong focal point. I might have wished for a crop of the darker shade in the bottom for higher visual impact. But good work!

It looks like a painting especially the BG fields. A nice blending of colour and good use of the diagonal line.
