Photographer’s Note

Champagne is known to most of you for being the name of a festive sparkling wine, but originally it's the name of a historic region of France, where the wine is raised.

Passing by this little village on my way to Troyes, the biggest city to the south of this region, I saw the local Papagolfade and was amazed how oversized it is relatively to the rather tiny village; It is the Eglise Saint Denis, dating from the XV th and XVI th centuries.
