Photographer’s Note

a quite different angle, a different day, a different use of the contrast in PP, but the same fields as the previous photo of this place

Champagne-Ardennes area is well known for the vines, in the Ardennes it's the same landscape than south Belgium (les Ardennes belges!) with more relief and more trees !,
in Champagne, the vines are concentrated around few locations with more relief but the majority of the land is covered by openfields, sometimes few trees here and there (generaly near the rivers)...

L'image est magnifique. C'est une composition très élégante. Tu as très bien tiré profit des ces bandes de coulaurs formées par les champs. Côté cadrage je suis assez d'accord avec le WS. J'aurais aussi coupé le haut.
Mais sinon c'est vraiement très beau

Bonjour Jonathan,

Encore une belle pièce de ta série sur les paysages ouverts. Celle=ci est vraiment très bien,quelles couleurs, l'arrière-plan renforce l'impression de paysage ouvert. Petite précision géographique sans grande importance, les Ardennes belges présentent un paysage moins ouvert, davantage de prairies et de forêts. Par contre, d'autres régions naturelles du Sud de la Belgique présentent également un payasage d'openfield (par exemple le Condroz ou la Hesbaye). Que ce petit couplet un peu docte ne gâche surtout pas tout le plaisir qu'apporte ta photo.

C'est top ça !! Ce damier est superbe et tu obtiens un super imapct visuel. La seule bleue en haut me semble un peu en déça du reste (ce que le WS confirme), mais sinon, j'imagine que tu as du bien te marrer à composer cela...

cette série sur les champs est décidémment vraiment réussie!Chaque nouvelle photo provoque mon étonnement!J'aime la façon dont les lignes sont agencées ici,avec leurs belles couleurs,mais aussi leur texture dûe à une netteté exemplaire!Je me demande juste si un format mopns haut n'aurait pas été plus joli,en enlevant la bande embrumée!Mais ce n'est qu'une question de goût!

En Egypte les femmes fabriquent des couvertures avec des bouts de tissus de différentes couleurs et cela donne cet aspect.
Les plans compressés par la focale font penser à de la laine ou à du velours; c'est très intéressant.

Hello Jonathan,

This are exactly the strings of a violin but as musician I can this understand, I'm no musician, I have to listen to music I'm alone a dancer.
I really love the soft greens and greys in diagonal layers on the rolling hills. This picturesque scene almost becomes abstract. I like this version with the greens although the soft colours in background also works well.

On ne se lasserait jamais d'admirer un tel paysage, changeant suivant les saisons!
Comme l'agriculture peut être artiste, sans le savoir peut-être! J'aime beaucoup le graphisme avec le dégradé de couleurs du net au flou.
Cependant, moi qui suis de Bretagne où nous sommes habitués aux petits champs entourés de talus, je me demande si ces immenses étendues sans arbres ni talus ne sont pas défavorables à l'environnement, à cause de l'érosion, d'autant plus que les cultures ne doivent sans doute pas être bio!
Mais enfin, tu n'y es pour rien! Et tu as su capturer la beauté du lieu!

Nombre de tes photos ont cette particularité de montrer des paysages terriens ,alternant les couleurs,avec une simplicité de composition déconcertante!
C'est sans doute ce parti prix "épuré" qui les rend si indéfinnissablement attirantes!

Les tons de ces ondulations sont magnifiques. Couper le haut était aussi une autre option mais cette image est très belle.

Je vais de ce pas demander au fermier du coin si il veut bien me faire la même chose afin que je puisse comparer avec ta magnifique photo,même remarque je supprimerai la partie haute ou le voile atmosphérique atténue les couleurs et les délavent.
