Photographer’s Note

Champagne Pommery è uno champagne francese che ha la sua fabbrica e sede a Reims.
La casa fu fondata come Pommery & Greno nel 1858 da Alexandre Luigi Pommery e Narcisse Greno che iniziarono come commercianti di lana.
Sotto la guida della vedova di Alexandre, Louise Pommery, la ditta si dedicò alla produzione di champagne e presto divenne una delle più importanti marche della regione.
In WS un'immagine di un tratto delle cantine.
La foto e' del 1988 e mi scuso per la qualità ma dopo la Tuborg mi sembrava giusto aggiungere questa immagine.

Champagne Pommery is a French Champagne house located in Reims. The house was founded as Pommery & Greno in 1858 by Alexandre Louis Pommery and Narcisse Greno with the primary business being wool trading. Under the guidance of Alexandre's widow, Louise Pommery, the firm was dedicated to Champagne production and soon became one of the region's largest Champagne brands.
In WS an image of a line of the wine cellars.
The photo is of 1988 and I apologize me for the quality but after the Tuborg it seemed me correct to add this image.

bella cornice, complimenti! Eheheheh! Scherzo!
Ottimo il POV scelto che con la vista del prato, conferisce una maggiore profondità di campo alle Cantine Pommery!
Anche se l'immagine è il risultato di una scansione da vecchia foto, il risultato sembra eccellente, con buona luce e ottimo contrasto.

P.S.
Bene, dopo la birra e lo champagne, adesso da buon siciliano, devi mostrarci le cantine dei vini di Marsala (TP) ;-)

really a nice idea to continue with champagne. You do not need to apologise for the quality, it is the atmosphere of this image that counts. The colours and the POV are great, but most of all I like the beautiful light! TfS!

L'immagine non ha la definizione delle foto digitali ma ha una composizione e dei colori straordinari. Se non ricordo male tu "sei quello dei cartelli". Beh, devo dire che quel divieto di accesso non ci sta neppure male, anzi ancora piacevolente lo sguardo.

arrivo dopo una lungo elenco che mi ha preceduto.
Ma lo spazio è ancora aperto.
Oltre che già da più di 20 anni facevi foto di grande spessore, marco l'uscita dim Bobo simpaticamente rincarandola : adesso ilcartello è fisiologico, ma prima, con minor traffico ....

Una foto magnifica e perfetta per un scan di 1988. Mi piaciono i colori vivi, la nitidezza, l'architettura e la composizione. Anche mi piace la strizzatina d'occhio, col piccolo cartello "senso vietato" . L'hanno messo basso affinchè non rovini il scenario.
Bravo per la qualità della foto e la nota molto iteressante!

Hi Maurizio,
Take care of one aspect...........the frame should either be in white or in black or a combination of the two.
Why?
Such kind of frame adds third dimesnion to your shot.
Don't try tomake a eye pleasing frame.
Concentrate on your photogaphic skills,which this composition conforms......and the rest will take care.
One more thing......don't oversharpen the shot in Photoshop.....the contours reveal the truth.
Sure ..kudos for the sky.

I like this image because of the combination of warm and cool tones. The building seem almost sepia while the sky add an interesting contrast to it. Good details and point of view to capture a wide view of this palace. Good work :-)

Complimenti Maurizio per aver rispolverato queste tue foto così lontane nel tetmpo...molto interessante e illuminante la nota...non so' con quale magia ma hai tirato fuori degli ottimi colori, anche la foto nel WS mi piace molto, ha un chè di anni '40...e poi da buon intenditor...
