Photographer’s Note

here a sight from the road between Montgenost and Villenauxe-la-Grande with vines on both sides of the road, so i'm not on the top of the hill, behind even more of vines
there is a steeply slop as the majority of these vines whose size doesn't exceed one meter (necessary condition in the production of the champagne) (it is besides very exhausting to make the grape harvest inthis type of vines)
in mid-May the vine growers carry out disbudding
after the exit of the buds, the buds which will not provide grapes are removed so that they do not divert sap of the principal buds

in WS another (dark) view with more sky to show the weither of that day

Hello,

Comme un tremplin de sautà ski, le titre veut tout dire, mangifique profondeur, très beau panorma du travail dans ces vignes avec ces travailleurs et des verts différents, bien vu.

Le format choisi et l'endroit où tu t'es placé donne une trèe belle profondeur d'image. Beaux dégradés de bleus et de verts. La présence de personnages donne de l'animation à l'image.

Indeed, 'depth of fields' is an apt title for this image of rolling valleys and plains. The fortuitous element, having a worker in a bright red shirt offering highlight to an photo preponderant in greens. The package, with the informative note, makes this a memorable post.

Une jolie vue, toute en longueur avec cette mise au point à l'infini. J'aime assez le dégradé de couleur de l'avant à l'arriére plan. Par contre, le ciel manque de détails et la tige en premier plan me gêne.
Trés belle perspective.

Les conditions météo n'étaient pas très favorables.
Possibilité augmenter la PDC ? Je ne sais pas si l'appareil permet d'aller au dela de f/8.

L'idée est originale et très bonne, la multiplication des plans est agréable à l'oeil.
J'aime bien aussi ton choix de cadrage privilégiant l'avant plan plus détaillé par rapport à un ciel que l'on devine très gris.

C'est un trés bon titre qui correspond exactement à l'image. La profondeur est vraiment grande et j'aime bien les différences de textures selon les cultures, la vigne au premier plan, les champs ensuite avec quelques haies et bosquets et enfin le petit bois sur la colline en face.

l'idée devcette pris est tres bonne, mais j'etais persuadé que c'etait pris au zoom....
j'aime la pdc, les differents plans de l'image..et les travailleurs.
cela dit on sent un manque de qualité au fond, et la brache est un peu genante..
mais c va, une belle prise

Great depth .. and feel of Spring. I love all the geometry of the fields. I love the people .. the really add a feel to the image .. I am not so fond of the near vine so diffuse .. I think if there were more I would like it but just one I am not so fond of .. still .. wonderful image.

J'aime bien cette composition dans laquelle les lignes du premier-plan créent un impact visuel assez fort et guident le regard en direction de l'arrière-plan. L'intégration des travailleurs donne une bonne idée des douleurs dorsales qui peuvent résulter d'un tel travail !!
Je trouve juste dommage la présence de cette herbe au premier-plan qui attire mon attention et n'ajoute rien à l'ensemble.

A great title to the picture, cannot be more apt. The rolling fields, the contrast of light & shade in the BG. The geometry of the fields are great..the only thing is the haze in the BG, for which the only 2 solutions IMO, are taking the shot under cloudy sky or use HDR as Didi has done. A fine picture nonetheless

Bonsoir Jo, depth is exactely what bumps on the face, when one looks first at this image. Then, I see the ondulating fields and the wonderful graphism of these all these lines. After a while, I feel like being on top of a roller coaster and want to descend this in high speed :) Great shot, smartly composed in the vertical and with an excellent inclusion of those three workers. The only thing I don't like is this leaf line in foreground. By the way, this is much better than the WS.

Your title says it all, what an incredible depht on several layers, pleasant clear frontplan with the people and the gradiant mist up to the horizont with a well textured cloudy sky, very apealing fresh green colors and soft mist I appreciate the most here Jonathan.

Proud to be the 50th admirer of this "WoW" photo. I don't know what makes me want to roll down like a ball if this photo does not :)))
A wonderful POV, look how deep it goes! The slopy and curvy surface of the ground makes this one of the most original field and "depth of field (lol)" photos in TE. Including the figures is a clever idea. TFS :)

The vertical format works well in showing all these linear layers, the different field patterns give it an interesting geometry, I have mixed feelings about the blurry branch at the bottom.

Le sujet me parle evidemment...dans ma region on ne parle pas d'ebourgeonnage mais plutot d'epamprage,les pampres poussent sur le vieux bois du pied et ne porteront pas de fruits...
Trés bon cadrage tout en perspective,la palette de verts est sympa,bien joué,
