Photographer’s Note

Church of Saint Quentin in Mathaux, completly built in wood in 1761, in the shape of latin cross and a polygonal choir.
Classical half timbered framework built on a floor plate (horizontal beam) isolated from the soil by a raised stone foundation filled with wattle and daub.
The belfry is covered in tiles made with chesnut.
The western portal is surmounted with a decoration called Saint Andrew's cross.
