- Mathaux - At raising, Dawn, the East, the margins of the Paris basin and the south of Champagne, a vast mysterious region extends where water, the ground and the forest gave birth to a singular territory, fruit of nature and men. It is the regional Park of the "Forest of the East" – Saint-Quentin Church - The originality of this church lies in the fact that it represents the only religious building in wood sides builds at the 18th century in the area and in addition, realized on the basis of stone church built at the same time. Beaucoup de maisons à pans de bois dans la région mais je crois que c'est la première église que je vois ainsi. Une image à la fois belle et instructive.

Very unusual to see a half-timbered church in France. Good pov including the foreground churchyard though the left is a little too closely cropped for my personal taste. The saturated blue sky brings out the detail in the wood and brick very nicely. TFS.

Les églises à pans de bois, ça fait parti des édifices que je voudrais aller visiter un de ces jours, ma courte visite à la Foret d'orient la dernière fois ne m'a pas permis de le faire.
Une bonne réalisation avec de bonnes couleurs et beaucoup de netteté, bon travail!!

a lovely shot set against the saturated sky (which I like). The shape of the church is unusual and I can't recall seeing such a magnificent half timbered building during my travels in France. A fine, sharp capture my friend, well done.

j'aime bien cette église, c'est là que mon frère s'est marié, elle est très jolie tant à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur...
les couleurs sont bien rendues, bonne qualité de la photo, le POV est plutôt bien même si c'est un peu génant la pierre du premier plan, bonne compo ***
