Photographer’s Note

Like in so many villages the church is placed high above the houses. The shape of its steeple - a sort of ice-cone upside down - I saw in other villages in the area as well.

Nice shot, good colours and sharpness. Foreground might be better with someting of interest there? Have you considered framing your shots in TE?

I like the comparison you've drawn about the steeple. It definitely has an odd shape & I like the texture on the face of it...Your low POV with lots of grass in the FG adds interest. A very good one

Very interesting church with special spire. You’ve photographed it nicely, taking advantage of the light. This low angle gives offers more presence to tje structure. Great sharpness and details level.

Mooi Gerrit, met een laag standpunt over het groene gras naar de romaanse kerktoren met een merkwaardig dakstructuur afgetekend in de blauwe lucht.

Hi Gerrit,
the POV so low is very good, it gives a great perspective to the church, and it leaves in foreground the grass of the meadow, as a green carpet. The bell tower stands out very well on a clean blue sky and it has a shape in its steeple really special. There is another detail that fascinates to me, and it is the position of the clock in the bell tower, next to the window and put off center .

Ah! I was waiting for this! It has a lot more space round it than I expected. It has an unusual spire and de-centralised clock that looks odd. The colours, light and composition are all good.
