A typical rainy day (de la bruine) in le Cotentin.
This is the same bakehouse, as in the snow
except this is in the rain, in August.
For those who don't know Normandy, every farm had its own oven for baking bread (la boulangerie). This is mine. It probably hasn't seen a loaf in 60 or more years, but the oven is still intact. It's conceivable that it could be refired some day....
