Photographer’s Note

Here we are, we left the Mont-Saint-Michel... Now direction Cancale.
But wherever you go, for miles, you see the famous silhouette.
Last stop in a small village 5 kilometers further, Courtils, where salt marshes spread as far as the eye can reach with the rock in the background.
The school bus parking, a little secret, offers a spectacular view, away from traffic.
Only disappointment, I can't get even a sheep when they are hundreds on the right of this image, inaccessible !
I could have imitated the bleating to try to attract their attention, ready for anything for a nice photo, but I am not sure that the couple of tourists quietly installed in front of their camper van, admiring the sight a coffee in the hand , has enjoyed the spectacle !
So, I propose two photos in the WS to enjoy the famous salt marhes sheeps.

Because of the halophytic vegetation that is used for food, the flesh of these lambs acquires a unique flavor that makes it very sought after by gourmets, but extremely difficult to obtain bacause of the limited production, only in this region...
