Eglise St Martin
La Lande-d’Airou est une commune d’environ 500 habitants, située à quelques kilomètres de Villedieu-les-Poêles, la cité normande du cuivre.
L’église St Martin de La Lande-d’Airou date du XV ° siècle, début du XVI °. Elle fut classée monument historique en 1987. Elle contient un coffret aux saintes huiles, oeuvre exécutée après 1783 par Léonard-Barnabé Le Barbey, maître-orfèvre à Villedieu de 1783 à 1788, puis à Avranches. L’église est excentrée du village et est située à proximité du château. Le cimetière attenant lui confère une atmosphère particulière.

St Martin church
La Lande-d’Airou is a commune of approximately 500 inhabitants, located a few kilometres from Villedieu-les-Poêles, the Norman city of copper. The St Martin church of La Lande-d’Airou dates from the XV ° century, beginning of the XVI °. It was classified historic building in 1987. It contains a box with the holy oils, artwork built after 1783 per Léonard-Barnabe Le Barbey, goldsmith master at Villedieu since 1783 to 1788, then in Avranches. The church is offset of the village and is located near the castle. The contiguous cemetery confers a particular atmosphere to him.

Hello Jean-Pierre,
Interesting composition of the church fronted by the little cemetery. I like the pov with the path coming in from the left and curving round to the church door. Good lighting resulting some warm tones and good clarity in the stonework.

your lens and POV makes the church really small, but this is interesting. As Stephen I find the POV appealing and I think you gave the cemetery a good focus. Fine straight lines with this lens.

Hello Jean,
Excellent image of the church. The angle you chose is perfect... How old was the oldest gravesite? The larger headstones appear to be in the early 1800's.

Je vois que toi aussi tu postes une église, mais la tienne est plus conventionnelle que la mienne! J'aime bien la perspective rendue par l'emploi du grand angle et qui t'a permis de cadrer à la fois le petit cimetière et l'église. Je me serais peut être juste décalée un peu vers la droite histoire que l'église soit un peu moins centrée.

Un bon cadrage avec l'effet du grand angle convenant bien a cette scène... tout le cimetière est en vue... l'église derrière est aussi bien présentée.. J aime bien la lumière et ces couleurs douces...

Bonsoir, Jean Pierre,
le grand angulaire donne un bon résultat ici, puisqu'il met au cadre l'église et le petit cimetière au premier plan qui forment une composition avec une bonne perspective et beaucoup de graphisme.
Le si bas point de vue aide à surélever cette architecture et donne beaucoup de profondeur.
La lumière et les couleurs douces sont parfaites.

C'est bien pris avec ce large avant plan et cet arrondi (qui rappelle ta photo avec les arbres fleuris et la route ...) Belle lumière tamisée pour valoriser les teintes des pierres de l'édifice, bonne netteté sur tous les plans, c'est réussi.

Hi Jean Pierre. With that U-shaped road it lends a fisheye look at that has me thinking this would be perfect for a fisheye lens. You put the wide-angle to smart use here and the sharpness is strong. I love the textures throughout the picture. Nice shot JP!

C'est une excellente compo, avec une belle utilisation de la perspective "super grand angle", qui met en valeur la courbe du chemin au 1er plan, ainsi bien sur que l'architecture de l'église.
