Photographer’s Note

In France most towns I have visited I find they take their history very seriously and quite often you find many streets and statues of their famous characters from the past celebrated in name or art.

Always on the look out for the unusual, took this shot for the fact that Napoleon horse is stamping on the Union Jack and he happens to be pointing to the United Kingdom 140 miles away, I found this quite amusing since he lost the battle of Waterloo in 1815
