Little stop in the visit of the Perigord, to return to the Pays d'Auge.
Quick lunch break yesterday in Beuvron to see preparations for the Cider Day. First sign : a huge cart of apples raised on the famous place !

Each fall, when the harvest ends, Beuvron-en-Auge holds its Day Cider and its large market for local products.
Today, artists and artisans will display their creations and exceptional ancient costumes, and the central place and the surrounding streets will be invaded by stalls with profusion of colorful fruits and vegetables, meats, wine... And of course, ciders that will be exposed to the tasting and for sale.

In this canton where everything is related to apples, cider is treated with all its traditional equipment : the "grugette" to crush apples, the press cage to extract the juice...
A joyful atmosphere for un sunny sunday !
