Photographer’s Note

The City of Bayeux held this weekend the 7th edition of its Festival of Games.
The festival mixes outdoor games, wooden games, games of skill, of strategy, of construction, board games... According to his tastes, his age, everyone found a game and have a good time !
For two days, Bayeux turns into "Kingdom of the games", with all the animations free.

A very nice moment for those who love modern parlour game and conviviality.
A wink to Marion and Yoann for their pleasant company o;)

Here a frame around a Dutch billiard, also called sjoelbak, a game of skill in wood.
The sjoelbak finds its origin in the shuffleboard table. Two lines are drawn at the end of a table : one to about 10 centimeters, the other to a meter. The rollers can be launched or dragged. The goal is to put his roller at the end of the table without dropping.

Ah oui bravo super bien vu !!! Pendant que Yoann ramait je vois que tu n'as pas chômé ;) Des couleurs éclatantes et une matière usée parfaitement restituée. Le tilt va bien à la photo pour en faire une compo graphique et ludique. Le tout étant probablement tout à fait inédit sur TE :D

Bonjour Karine,

Lovely tilted colour pattern, colour scheme like a flag of an exotic country, yet the title "sjoelbak" is so familiar to me. One of those games we played when we were younger, but almost forgot all about. Thanks for the reminder.

Where I live, they didn't come in colours, though. The "sjoelbakken" I knew, were plain wood. These are nicer, or maybe they're just Dutch...

Sjoelbak toi-même ! :o)
Hormis le nom imprononçable de ce jeu (j'te jure qu'à cette heure matinale je ne vais même pas essayer), la photo est sympa avec ces couleurs vives, la compo graphique et un cadrage qui fait découvrir les différents éléments de ce jeu. Ca doit être très sympa ce genre de festival.

Très beau détail et cpature, je ne connais pas ce jeu, mais le pions en bois me plaisent beaucoup, le cadrage donne un graphisme mangigique, très belle compo.

Pour moi ce soir, le jeu c'est plutôt d'essayer de m'y retrouver sur TE. As-tu réussi à poster? Moi impossible(cf forum).
Bon mais revenons à cette photo, j'adore! Ton cadrage est merveilleux avec ce sandwich extraordinaire. On voit les veines du bois, les couleurs sont transparentes... quelle matière!
Et le cadre... une petite merveille!
Bravo pour ce coup d'oeil et cette originalité!

Très belle prise avec ces couleurs vives. J'aime bien les lignes qui se croisent et mises en valeur dans ce cadrage serré très inspiré.
