Photographer's Note

The small town Pont-à-Mousson lies in the North-East of France, near Luxemburg, in what the French call Lorraine and the Germans call Lotharingen. The area is French now but belonged to Germany between 1871 and 1919. The two main attractions of the town are the 17th century Norbertine Abbey of Prémontrés, and the gothic-style Église Saint-Martin, built between the 13th and 15th century AD. Well, maybe there are actually three main attractions: I ran into a copy of the latter...
