Pareid's church Photo

Photographer’s Note

Pareid is a very small village located 30 km west from Verdun. This very humble church is interesting owing to its wood bell tower. The church is situated in the middle of the cemetery. The wood structure has been rebuilt after a fire but the building is very old (13th century).

Une belle composition Regis, les couleurs et la lumière sont superbes, un très beau contraste. Juste deux petits points, la croix en haut qui aurait préférablement dû être incluse au complet avec un peu d'espace et peu être en bas dans le coin gauche, couper la portion qui n'appartient pas au muret. Mais c'est mineur à mon point de vu, très belle perspective, bravo.

I really like the lighting. The color of the sky contrasting with the color of the church work very well. Nicely done.

Hi Regis, Wonderful detailed capture on this old structure. The blue sky indeed compliments the color and oldness of this church. Nice Perspective on this shot too..

In my opinion I might consider some cropping at the bottom and left. Have created a workshop to show what i mean. Hope you dont mind.

Bonjour Regis, bel angle de prise de vue qui nou montre bien la structure de cette eglise, bon choix du moment aussi, le ciel n'est pas encore noir et ce bleu sombre fait bien ressortir la belle lumiere et les couleurs. Bonne maitrise photographique.

You send a very good photo to us, very nice angle you too it, very good coloursm with that low sun. One thing, when I was you I had cropped that line below, let's say one cm, farther very good job

Au début je me psuis posé cette question : Est-ce un projecteur qui éclaire l'église ou est-ce les rayons du soleil Couchant ? Non d'après l'heure, le soleil est déjà couché
Cela donne un bel effet.
Mais était t'il possible d'entrer dans l'enceinte pour éviter le mur ?

Otima foto, obtida com uma luz as veses dificil, mas voce o fez com competencia. Os contrastes, as cores e as texturas estão otimos. Saudações Regis.

I was looking at some of your older shots and this one struck me as being very beautiful. I just love the lighting on the church and the fantastic textures you captured. The composition is excellent too. Well shot!!
