Photographer’s Note

Spending my time in Luxembourg we bought train tickets to Metz (about 15 euros return). After an hour on the air conditioned train we got off and felt much warmer air, it was sunny (at last) but there were some stormy clouds, here you can see the railway station AFTER the downpour:))))
Metz is a city in the northeast of France, capital of the Lorraine region and prefecture of the Moselle department.
It is located at the confluence of the Moselle and the Seille rivers.

It has one of the highest St. Etienne, Gothic cathedral featuring stained glass windows designed by Marc Chagall.
It has also lovely old town streets, with many shops and patisseries and coffee shops.

It's not difficult to stroll round the city as almost everwhere you come across huge maps for the lost tourists, follow the pavements signed with a cathedral or a dragon;)
