Roundabout in France
I hope French people never will build a "Magic" roundabout"
England is known for its "Magic Roundabout". This roundabout is at an intersection of five roads and consists of a two-way road around the central island with five mini-roundabouts where it meets the incoming roads. Traffic may proceed around the main roundabout either clockwise via the outer lanes, or anti-clockwise using the inner lanes next to the central island. At each mini-roundabout the usual clockwise flow applies. (from Wikipedia)

Lieben Gruss, Ulf

We are beginning to see a few roundabouts in my city but not as large as the ones in Europe. I do find them very easy to navigate and they definitely keep traffic moving. Nice image with this interesting island. The colours and sharpness of this image are excellent. Thanks Achim.

The French often make much of their roundabouts; this one has a rather psychedelic feel to it ;-) Good capture; I particularly like the blue cows! Thanks for sharing.

This is really very interesting shot of roundabout with style. The bulls and blue light below the water with the bright red, such a feature. Informative note.
Not much traffic at this moment.

Nice vivid colours for this roundabout, which you find everywhere in France. They often represent something typical of the region. I don't know if the Lorraine cows are typical! I very much like the sky in your photo, which I have added to my theme "Typical roundabouts"
PS. I wonder what is written on the flat round stone. You could probably read it by cropping your original-size picture to just the stone!
