Photographer’s Note

Warm colors of late afternoon on the railway station.
the atmosphere is quite "road movie" or rather "railway movie", hope you enjoy it.

Just a little note after a few comments, the photo has been no conversion to sepia. I just applied a white balance "sunny" in the shooting, and under-expose the view. In PP I applied a warming filter type LBA with 15% opacity to maximize the effect of twilight

Is it sepia or is it the lighting?

J'aime les gares et j'aime cette photo d'une gare avec tous les éléments présents, rails, portiques,.... dans le cadre particulièrement bien soigné.Beau jeu d'ombres et lumières aussi.
La maitrise de la lumière pour aboutir à cette éspèce de "cépia" foncé et généralisé évoquant la couleur du machefer entre les traverses, est très réussie.

Salut Cyrille, yes the warm tones here are just wonderful. They attract the eye immediately. In the thumbnail, I initially thought the image was in seppia, the light was so god. Great shot and thanks for sharing. Enjoy your week, Lisa.

I really enjoy looking at this "railway-movie atmospheric" image. The light is very attractive. The brown-golden colours are great, and I like the reflections of the rails. Very well executed! Thanks for sharing. Have a nice weekend.
