Today a little switch back in the past, nearly two years ago i was for a day on an trip through Alsace..
still some pictures left to be shown here again..
About the location:
another charming village, to be reached just a few meters behind the border between Germany and France, in Alsace...
About the story:
on an privat or public event, some time for strolling around iin the streets of Wissembourg..
About the picture:
today a shot, taken in the streets of Wissembourg, as you can see another example of beautiful renovated half-timbered houses, all along the streets..
this one here, nearby the river Lauter, which arises in the palatinate forest in Germany, was used in former times as a bath-house..
a nice evening to all my friends and guests here at TE!

What a beautiful place you have visited and photographed! These old buildings look so attractive presented and cropped so creatively. Like it! Very well done.
Have a nice weekend!

This is a great shot of these half-timbered houses. The inclusion of the flowers in the foreground adds depth to the scene. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has excellent sharpness and DOF.

I like a lot this type of architecture, the colors are really pleasant, the image is well captured in a splendid vertical solution. Congratulations.

Hello dear Bernd,
an exuberant and very attractive bouquet of flowers in the foreground, sets the mood of the picture but the lovely sunshine and vivid colours play a great role too. I like how you arranged the background and the complementary information, a fine picturesque town is growing around the bouquet. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

interesting indeed..i wonder why the house on the right only has window shutters on the one side?!
maybe its as simple as the other window shutter just fell off?
I would love to see the insides of these homes, they look so charming outside...how about inside?
excellent light and overall subject choice.
enjoy your day
