Photographer's Note
About the location:
another charming village, to be reached just a few meters behind the border between Germany and France, in Alsace...
About the story:
on an privat or public event, some time for strolling around iin the streets of Wissembourg..
About the picture:
today a shot, taken in the streets of Wissembourg, as you can see another example of beautiful renovated half-timbered houses, all along the streets..
this one here, nearby the river Lauter, which arises in the palatinate forest in Germany, was used in former times as a bath-house..
a nice evening to all my friends and guests here at TE!

Hi Bernd
nice to view your gallery once again :)
these timbered houses are really an eye catcher, especially for us here in Canada as we don't have anything similar.
Just be looking at the photo, there is a strong European feel to it.
the flowers in the fg add color and elegance.
really sharp and well managed lighting.
cheers

Hi Bernd
Yes, Wissembourg is indeed a charming village. It is not to far from my hometown Basel.
Your composition is very pleasing, showing a typical alsatian village scene.
Have a good weekend

Hallo Berd.
