Photographer’s Note

We are going to choose a destination for the weekend...probably it will be France again, the third time this year...so I looked back for a shot of the petite France in Strasbourg ;)

A really great shot will all the "ingredients" of perfect reflection, vivid colors, fine sharpness and due to the canal excellent DOF. Congrats Giorgio. Strasbourg was and is always one of my favorite destination in Europe. I like the middle age character of the city, the fine architecture, the people and of course last but not least the excellent food. Enjoy it

anyway the light and colors make me feel the exoticism there.

Looks like a double fantasy! These houses must be the inspiration to many Disney fantasies! Very fine colours here and a good composition with this quay leading the eye to the canal!

This is a fantastic shot of this wonderful architecture. Your composition is great with the reflection creating depth and balance for the shot. The curving wall in the foreground leads the eye into the shot nicely. The lighting and colors are great as is the sharpness and detail.
