Photographer’s Note
This is getting near the end of my on the road shots from my current trip and brings me up to date (we have had good free wifi where we are staying in Strasbourg).
Strasbourg has a great collection of timber framed building, some dating back to the 15th century and many of them are along the various branches of the river.
This photo was taken in the area known as little Venice and I noticed good reflections of the timber framed buildings but the water was a bit choppy for a clear shot so I upped the shutter speed to 1/250 to capture them better with their nicely distorted look.
I would have liked to have done a bit of work on the clouds and sky to bring them up but I don't have decent software with me.

Hi Ian,
Yes, a little bit of post would have helped to bring out the finer details of this image but nonetheless it is a pleasant capture giving a good insight into what one would expect to see in this lovely city. I'm glad to see you are still doing it tough on this SHORT sojourn to Europe.
Nicely taken.
Regards
Peter
