Photographer’s Note
Misused title from Abba...
Another Carnival View from the parade that took place last sunday in my village, this time framed closely with the 50mm and treated as a double Francinade.
Beside sticking to the Carnival traditions and providing training for the Guggemuusig bands before the real full size events, this parade is first oriented towards children and they are the real queens and kings of this event, although as you can see they do not seem to enjoy it with equal fun, actually the crowned girl seems to enjoy it a lot more.
It could well be the other one is a bit afraid of this scary monster mouth, although much has been done to use colors related to the bright world of children. All these carriages are built and operated by the village associations, sports or hobby clubs but as far as I know we do not have a photoclub yet, well I can't tell I miss that so much because of this big worldwide club we're all in ;-)

Salut Jean Yves
Wonderful color & contrast, that well conveys the carnival mood. I like the tight framing, & 2 small enfants within. Bon weekend!

Salut Jean Yves
Meilleures salutations

Hi Jean Yves
A fine and funny moment you captured here - Many years ago did I take part in a parade like this - I was dressed as a french man - too bad theres no photos of that event :-(
Thanks sharing this.

Hi Jean Yves,
Great colours in this pic...really pleasant and beautiful. I also like the contrasting expressions of the two sweet little girls. And the choice of tight frame/crop is great. I've heard 'bout this 'Carnival' but never knew how it looked...TFS.

merci
amicalement

I like colors so much!! Why one girl is so serious?? She should have a lot of fun sitting inside this big mouth (I would send there my dentist, he would enjoy... and take her off!)
Well capture! caio

Salut Jean-Yves,

Wow! The colour in this shot really jumps out of the frame! Great use of the mouth to frame the girls and draw attention to them. Wonderful contrast of expressions too, between the happy and not-so-happy. Great work!

Yes, the queen is all into it while the other girl is not so sure. An enchanting find from the carnival procession in your village, Jean-Yves, vivid and colorful.

Hi Jean-Yves. I like all of the emotions you've captured in this one shot. On the far right looks like surprise, the middle is somber and the left is pure happiness. All of the colors are rich and vivid. Nice catch Jean-Yves.

Hey JY,
in the mouth of the beast? I like the humor of this shot. Well filled in frame, very tight. I would have maybe cropped a bit off the bottom where the white pole is. Other than that its excellent.

Bonjour Jean Yves,
I love the composition of this giant head and mouse, with that double Francinade (the one at the front is not having fun at all!) and such combination of strong colours that make a real festive atmosphere. I like the way the mouse fills up all the photo. Congratulations!
Merci,
Ricardo
p.s.- I also like the connections to other members that seem be a trend nowadays.
