Photographer’s Note
The typical Alsacian bird. This shot is a bit different from what we are used to see of the storks, as he is not on a roof or in a nest.

Hi Thomas,
Indeed a different view of our impressive icons, I guess it was taken in this park they have created in Hunawihr, one of my neighbours once saw on that close after it had landed in her bedroom through the large open windows !
Have a nice sunday JY

Your focus is excellent. Beautiful detail on the feathers.
It's nicely framed by the greenery.
Good lighting and colours.
I like it!

Hello Thomas. This is an interesting picture. I like the good details of the bird and the light colours of the composition. Good perspective and nice zoom to capture this cute animal. Good use of the plants to create a natural frame. Thanks :-)

Hi Thomas,
A very clear and well focussed shot. You were quite lucky to get that close. Great colors, one sees it's a qualiy lens ;-) A pitty though that the stork's head is not a bit more lightended.
Greetings and TFS, Mike

Hi Thomas,
This bird looks like the Dutch “ooievaar”. I suppose they are related. This picture is very attractive with the green leaves in front to make extra depth.
