Maison des Têtes (1609) (19 rue des Têtes) à Colmar. Cette maison doit son nom aux nombreuses têtes sculptées sur l’édifice. Plus de 106 masques grimaçants recouvrent ainsi la façade. Au sommet, sur le pignon, une statue représentant un tonnelier. Magnifique oriel qui accueille la plupart des têtes. Le bâtiment abrite aujourd’hui un hôtel-restaurant. Plan rapproché du pignon en Workshop.

House of the heads (1609) (19 Des Têtes street) in Colmar. This House owes its name to the many heads carved on the building. More than 106 grimacing masks thus cover the façade. At the summit, on the gable is a statue representing a cooper. Magnificent oriel which hosts most of the heads. The building now houses a hotel and restaurant. Close-up on the gable in Workshop.
