Photographer’s Note
Not quite the end of my photos from recent travels - I forgot Colmar - up the Rhine river from Strasbourg. Along the canals there are lots of interesting buildings - timer framed but with the distinctive Colmar style and colour. A great town to wander about 9and easily accessed from Strasbourg by train).

Hello Ian!
What a beautiful and pleasant picture!
The vertical format was a great choice and the composition is pretty attractive!
The level of sharpness, exposure, depth of field and colors are excellent! I really love the architecture of the buildings and the reflection on the water surface!
TFS - congratulations!
My warmest regards,
Neyvan

Ian,
Your composition is great here using the vertical format to show the nice reflection. The reflection adds depth and balance to the shot. The canal leads the eye through the shot nicely giving the shot a good sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great as is the sharpness and detail.
TFS,
Asa

A lovely luminous image, Ian, and so typical of the colours and architecture of Alsace. I guess you are back in Oz now. I will be there soon, as it is becoming my second home. Regards Kevin

Hi Ian,
You got a great point of view here, with the curving canal and the wonderfully coloured buildings - looks like a magical place. Good depth of field and control of the light.
Vince
