Photographer’s Note

Colmar is is a real surprise if you get there without knowing too much about it. It´s one of the towns in the Alsace that belonged several times to either Germany or France, and it´s a great mixture of architectural styles - fortunately undestroyed by wars.

But what really set´s it apart from other towns of the area is the river Lauch, crossing the city in very pitoresque channels and earning it the nickname "Little Venice". A great place to visit if you´re around.
