Photographer's Note

Turenne is a commune in the Corrèze department in the Limousin region in central France. It is characterised by its height and unique position on top of a cliff.

It is one of the most beautiful villages of France (along with 148 others, including neighbouring Loubressac, Autoire, Curemonte and Carennac). It also has a well-known castle.

Hi Adrian,

Indeed it must be one of the most beautiful villages. I like these moss covered roofs and a castle dominating the village on the hill. Fantastic place.

I enjoyed every bit of your lovely album and it made me wish to go back and explore the central region too. This shot and the village is no exception. Hi Adrian,

A good upward pov on the hilltop fort with mossy rooftops in the fg on the old houses adding interest. Effective tight framing & good colour & sharpness. Plenty of breathing space at the top & sides. Tfs!

joli coin aux allures médiévales, une vue qui montre bien la butte et le château y construit. Je trouve les lumières parfaites, l'exposition qui fait vivre les couleurs.
J'aurais cadré un rien plus bas.

Une très belle contre plongée qui donne de l'ampleur à la colline et au château qui la domine. Une belle lumière douce, sans ombres, fait parfaitement ressortir les détails.
