Nous continuons notre périple et à 50 km à l'est d'Orléans nous trouvons Sully-sur-Loire et son château construit au confluent de la Loire et de la Sange. Le château, qui resta dans la famille du 1er duc de Sully jusqu'en 1962, servit de refuge au jeune Louis XIV lors de la Fronde des Princes et acceuilla Voltaire lorsqu'il fuya Paris en 1715.
Conversion d'un fichier RAW en jPeg. Pas de pp, à l'exception d'un USM faible.
La position géographique pour les intéressés:
47° 47'04" N - 2° 22' 31" E
Jour de fermeture le lundi - jour de notre passage :-(.
Our first castle in the Loire valley is Sully-sur-Loire, 50 km east of Orleans, constructed on the confluant of the Loire and the Sange. The castle remained in the family of the 1st Duke of Sully until 1962.

Bonsoir John,

Voilà un nouveau point de vue qui va enrichir la collection de photos qui ont été faites sur ce magnifique château. La journée était idéale et a permi d'avoir une très belle exposition mettant joliment en valeur l'architecture. Les couleurs naturelles sont agréables. Juste un petit regret au niveau du reflet, les deux tours en arrière pan auraient été entières avec un peu moins de ciel... mais c'est un détail... Merci John.

Salut mon cher John
J'étais de retour de vacances la veille et Monsieur profite pour visiter mes terres sans m'annoncer de sa présence.
Tu as repéré un bon point de vue sur le château.
Même si le château est fermé le parc est toujours ouvert.
A 10 h 56 ce jour là j'étais en train de laver ma voiture.

Goedemorgen John,
Een mooie combinatie van de verschillende elementen van het kasteel in deze foto met daarbij een mooie spiegeling in de gracht.
Door je diagonale pov krijg je mooie diepte werking.
Iets meer contrast had de foto denk ik wel goed gedaan, dan was hij wat meer gaan leven qua kleuren.

Un reflet..., je saute dessus.
Il manque peut etre un peu de contraste dans ce trés beau cliché, le cadrage est bon , et les couleurs naturelles...

Hello John,
A good point of view on castle and moat. A slight pity that the bottom of the reflections are cut off but not a major issue. I like the soft natural tones and light.

Thgis shot is really nice. The saturated sky makes this architecture stands out well in the frame. Fine details of this superbly framed shot.

Hello again, John!
it's difficult for me to decide which of the three photos of this castle would be my most favourite, in this case :) Probably this one - with outweighing the other photos just a tiny bit :)
The composition is simply excellent, in my opinion.
I am also impressed by the reflection in the water, of course! Looks like those "ancient" guys really knew very well how and where to build castles to impress the visitors ;)
