Les Petits Ventres (The Small Stomachs) is a restauarant in the 'Butcher's' district of Old Limoges. One of its specialities apparently is tripe. The building dates from the 15th Century.

Hello Stephen. No beautiful motive escapes your watchful view. The old house has an interesting mixture from stone and framework. The front is very beautiful to regard. A further photographic document well taken and worth seeing. Many greetings, Wolfgang.

Hello Stephen, this frontage is preserved perfectly, each one of it is house with their personality and their charm makes the beauty of many picturesque place in France, knowing that these artisanal constructions mixing stones of country and wood sides and cob for their construction and maintains to them, a large effort was surely necessary to maintain it or restore them in this state, superb photo for excellent made graphic and a development of the timeless forms, sincerely ..................Bonjour Stephen, cette façade est parfaitement conservée, chacune de c’est maison avec leur personnalité et leur charme font la beauté de nombreux endroit pittoresque en France, sachant que ces constructions artisanales mélangeant pierres de pays et pans de bois et torchis pour leur construction et leur entretient, un gros effort a été sûrement nécessaire pour la maintenir ou les restaurer dans cet état,
superbe photo pour un excellent rendu graphique et une mise en valeur des formes intemporelles, bien amicalement

this is one of the best...not so much sky here and loads of upfront detail..the contrasts of stone and wood is pleasant and blends well
i expect they are fairly new windows and doors but blend in quite well..chimney could be blown away..:) cloning that is

Hi Stephen,
LOL love the name of the restaurant, although I have to say it is not a very motivating one to enter the place, with "Les gros ventres" I'd step in at once ;-)
I like the architecture, lovely old houses and I'd not spontaneously imagine to find such style in Limoges, the light is pleasant on the house and the modern door/windows add a contrasting touch to the much older half timbered facade, Just pity you cut the chimney. A nice add to this picture would be to shoot it just as somebody enters the restaurant.

Another very good picture of old buildings. I do enjoy these and despite the fact that i've been twice in Limoges i didn't spot this one...
Your point of view is nice focusing on the whole of the building. It's a shame that the youngsters have used some soort of graffity on the wall on the left of the picture. Maybe you can 'erase' those?
