Saint-Dyé-sur-Loire au crépuscule, un bâteau solitaire sur la Loire s'approche du rivage. Un homme et son chien renrant de on ne sait pas où. Le petit hors bord transperce le silence. Un moment magique sur la rivière s'en est allé.
Saint-Dyé-sur Loire, a lone boat circles, preparing to land. A man and his dog, returning in the late light of the day. The sound of the outboard motor pierces the silence. The end of a magic moment on the river.

Bonjour John,

Beaucoup de douceur dans cette photo, j'aime beaucoup le traitement utilisé pour enjoliver cette heure de la journée et apporter une atmosphère à l'instant. Les ondes dans l'eau donne un bonne dynamique à l'image. Très joli coup d'oeil, bravo John.

this light is so soft and warm, it reminds me of the summer. The eyecathcer is surely the boat, but the whole composition makes it to a wonderful image. TFS

This isn't a photo, this must be a painting. These waves, these pastel colours and the "touch" of autumn here create a wonderful symphony. Very good work indeed!

A beautiful moody composition of this man and the little boat, whose wake we can see curving inwards towards the bank. Lovely late evening tones complemented by the autumnal foliage on the far trees with superb sharpness throughout. Great photography.

une photo bien agréable à regarder grâce à de belles couleurs,les sillons laissés par la barque nous cachent les reflets mais nous laissent apprécier le côté calme de la riviére.Belle image...

Il ne fallait pas attendre 2 mn supplémentaires pour la prendre cette photo-là ! Bien joué.
Les tons sont très agréables et les sillons apportent un côté graphique bien attractif.

splendid catch of the boat turning around. Love the ripples on the water behind them and the completely still waters in front of them. Good reflection of the man and detail of the dog.

Hello John,
This is an excellent sunset photo. The colors and light are very well managed. The composition with the on the water is simply beautiful. For Russian language speaker these circles are also symbolic, because we say "to circle" meaning "to end (the work or journey)". Perfectly good job!
