Historical Background
Ouzouer comes from the Latin "Oratorium" or "Orarium" (Sanctuary).
In 1660, the parish was known as Ouzouer-lez-Choisy (Bellegarde bearing the name of Choisy)

Then it was called Ouzouer-aux-Loges (referring to the "boxes" of forest forest Orleans all close).

Eglise Saint-Denis * (IMH): nave single bed flat 13th, Romanesque portal.
