Photographer’s Note

In order to remain faithful to my reputation, here a church which is drawn up proudly on a headland and dominates the city with elegance. Church of Saint-Michel de Villeloin goes back to 1872 when is a "Worship of the shepherds" of Jean Boucher of Bourges, of 1626.

Pour ce qui est de ta reputation, je crois que tu n'as pas a t'en faire elle est solidement etablie, ce qui peut etre mesure par l'usage bien repandu du terme Papagolfade !
Pour en revenir a la photo, je suis seduit par ce cadrage vertical qui en plus de l'eglise fait la part belle au dynamisme des nuages, tres bien vu.

A church! What a surprise! :) A quite tall church this time, well shown by your upward angle and the judicious use of the vertical photo format. I like very much your POV and composition, which resulted in an image with sense of perspective and considerable architectural strength, trough 2 very well defined lines (the front wall and the left edge of the tower).

But most important, the image is beautiful with a stunning sky and very nice, natural, warm colors.

Signe des temps on met les catédrales à la campagne :-), bien sur, c'est une église, mais son clocher est majestueux et c'est accentué par la prise. Je trouve bien aussi ce ciek de traine qui couvre parfaitement le sujet.

With the dreamy sky and pleasing hues this shot resembles a painting. The large format gives the church room to breathe in the frame, well adorned by the foreground trees. All is seen with great clarity of detail. The slice of ultra green grass enhances. This is classic Papagolf...Very pleasing work.

superbement cadrée cette église avec un ciel dont tu dois bien te douter qu'il me plait.
Un pov qui donne beaucoup de grandeur et de majesté à cet édifice religieux, une petite touche de relief même.
J'aime aussi le vert de cette pelouse et des arbres, une photo qui nous replonge au printemps dernier, de quoi penser à celui qui va bientot arriver.

Effectivement le point de vue est très intéressant, il permet d'apprécier la hauteur du clocher.
La lumière latérale donne un bon relief et l'équilibre ombres lumières et bien maîtrisé.

I've missed quite a few of your posts Philippe, so I'll go to this one. First because I always fall for old stone churches like this and second because I really like the view of this one. The church stands so powerfully, with the tall tower, strong walls and in contrast to the apparent open space around it. The sky is impressive, the clouds highlighting the tower and church in a special way. Your point of view is great for this building. Maybe a little skewing to get the verticals all straight but that's just a minor touch I can think of. But non the less my eyes are really drawn upward here and I feel a protected feeling by this building.

Une nouvelle église pour vous,mais quel vue.
Bien cadré sur son sommet,avec un acteur de soutien du tonnerre,soit le ciel nuageux,un rien mouvementé.
On frise la surexposition dans le nuage droit mais ceci n'enl;ve rien à la beauté de votre composition.

Ce n'est certainement pas la plus belle église mais elle est transfigurée par la photo. La composition, les couleurs et le ciel sont au top. On ne se lasse pas de voir tes photos.
