At the time of the fortifications
Villeloin owes its development to the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Sauveur founded in 850.
Among the most beautiful ruins, there remains the fortified XVth century, gate, restored in 1627 and the abbatial dwelling
(closed to the public).

Bonjour Philippe,
Très beau cliché réussi de cette forteresse. Le cadrage, l'éclairage de côté et le ciel mettent bien en valeur l'aspect rustique et presque indestructible de cette batisse. Dommage qu'elle soit fermée au public. C'est quand même un des styles de photos que je préfère et que je pratique.

A beautiful showing of the mighty old structures, Philippe. The surface detail present in the bricks and stones is well shown in the sunlight, and I like how you included the passageway at the bottom, offering a small look into the background.

Il ne manque que les créneaux pour que cela ressemble à un chateau fort.
Les moines étaient bien défendus.
La netteté, le cadrage et la lumière au top comme d'habitude.

que nous prépares-tu pour la 500e, une super-papagolfade sans doute :-).
Un rien d'avantage davantage de recul aurait permis de mieux cadrer cette façade à mon avis.
Elle est bien exposée et nette.
Il est bien dommage que cette abbaye ne soit pas accessible.

Bonjour Philippe,
Voila une jolie porte, du beau et du costaud qui porte encore les traces du pont levis dont on n'a heureusement plus trop besoin de nos jours, bonne lumiere et details dans toutes les zones, dommage d'avoir manque un peu d'angle pour include la perspective de la rue en bas, peut etre que deux photos verticales assemblees auraient fait l'affaire ici ? C'est une technique qu'utilise souvent notre ami Jack avec succes.

Une image très appréciable qui me permet d'entamer un sujet inhabituel.
Avec le logiciel des photos panoramiques cela t'ouvrira un nouvel horizon pour photographier des architectures avec beaucoup plus de facilités lorsque la météo sera plus cléménte.
Ici l'appareil devra être positionné bien droit sur un trépied et il te seras possible de faire deux photos verticales.

Très jolie porte portant les traces du pont levis, j'aime beaucoup visiter ces châteaux, dommage que celui-ci ne se visite pas. La netteté de l'image met bien en valeur la pierre dont on distingue beaucoup de détails.
D'après les commentaires, il va falloir se mettre au panorama........

Magnifique prose de vue de cet abbaye. Votre photo capture en effet tous les détails de la façade de pierre grâce à une très bonne maîtrise de l'exposition et de la lumière ambiante. Celle-ci joue parfaitement son rôle en mettant en valeur l'architecture grâce au jeu d'ombre sur les deux tours et les reflets sur les ardoises. Bravo !

Very impressive, Philippe!
It's just amazing the amount of architecture you managed to squeeze within the frame so it appears to be bigger than it really is (the frame).
Close enough for the viewer to admire many fantastic details on the fortress that seems to be in a very good condition.
Nice sunny day provided fine side-light and you also managed to get a good POV and render the shadows.
Moreover, you give us a glimpse of the inside, through the main gate.
Clear blue sky and foliage in the FG help additionally in framing this amazing catch.

On ne peut pas faire plus solide, en construction et en photo.. L'ensemble constitué par les tours et l'emplacement du pont Levis est isolé par le cadrage, la lumière est excellente et les pierres sont bien détaillées.
Un plus avec le fond de la cour.
