Circular donjon XIVth century, dovecote.
Rests of the prieuré of Berneçay: building XIIIème / XIVème centuries, lodging house XVth century,
Outbuildings XVth century, vault XIIIème / XIVème centuries (maybe a subterranean church).

Another lovely place in France, one of the many castles in France, also this castle see very lovely out of. Also the environment give a nice composition, through the many green trees.

Hi Philippe. The good POV seems to allow you to avoid any major problems with the low but powerful Sun. I think this is at the upper limit of sharpening. You didn't waste any area of the shot. Very nice one Philippe.

I like the contrast between those architectures. All are classic, but with many differences and approaches.
The composition is good with the diagonal pathway on the left, and framed by the tree. Nice colors and beautiful blue sky.

Un point de vue intéressant sur le jardin qui équilibre la forte luminosité sur le château; la composition est parfaitement adoucie, mais je suis désolé car je ne possède pas ta capacité poétique de critique, mes commentaires étant plus techniques.

You absolutely right to show so much of this beautiful blue sky in the picture. The picture make us curieus about the castle too, but that beautiful sky beats everything.

Hi Philippe,
A very interesting and well composed shot which works well in large format. I like the play of light and shadow you have obtained on the richly textured lawn. The building on the right neatly balances the main castle structure and ther is also good contrast between the beige walkway and the grass. Fine details are clearly visible. Great ambience in this successful capture.
