Château des Roches
In the corner of the park of "château des Roches", stands a round tower known a "Tour de la Belle Agnès". In that castle, blessed Jeanne de Maillé was born in 1331 (closed to the public).

Une bien jolie demeure avec cet oiseau prêt à se poser.

Congratulations with you 400th photo on TE, I hope and wait on the 400 following. Again a beautiful castle, I find the stairs tower wonderful. I have saturday a visit to the Nord France castles brought, but a pity very bad weather, very bad for a good photos.

A good natural framing for this scenic view of the Château, Philippe. Well-chosen angle to have the old edifice appear behind the greenery, and well-managed sunlight as it enhances the decorative details of the architecture. Nice photo.

Another French chateau, beutiful and clean, captured with great sense for both details and overall composition, with pleasant natural colours and perfect sharpness. The only damage is you couldn't enter the garden and show us more views.

Wow Philippe this really is a splendid chateau. I love the architecture as it seems to be refined and has such clean lines. I never would have known how big the place was if not for the person. You managed the light well too. Oh happy 400th post! Funny I just posted my 100th. Nicely done Philippe!

Splendide vue de cette architecture en pleine et agréable lumière.
Peut-être que les motifs autour de la porte auraient été intéressants à voir de plus près ?

Hi Philippe,
A well rendered composition which portrays this chateau very nicely. I like how the light pastel colour of the building is similar to the outside parking area. The red brown door is a perfect balance to break up the colours and add a special feature. The foliage envelopes the structure and gives it stature and privacy. Well seen and captured.

For a private residence you got a nice point of view of another fine building. I like how this captures it on an angle from the trees and how they converge creating a spoke like pattern. The trees in the distance and back add nicely to the feel of being surrounded by trees. The building is very beautiful itself and in this setting. Just a couple of questions, though. Is that a person walking in front? If so that really adds scale and makes this bigger than I imagine. And the other is what is that object in the sky? Seems kind of strange to be a bird or plane.

I like yourr picure. It's very organized and the meaning is very poetic. The scene is very nice and the point of view is very interesting to this beautiful picture. Philippe, there is one person walking, i don't understand but the picture is excellent.
The point of view is magnific. because your position is very clear and i like it.
The sky color looks very natural and it has a very poetic scene. When i saw this creative picture, i saw calm. This romantic place are very nice. The contrast, the saturation and the lightness are great.

Bonjour Philippe, Du grand classique comme l'ont remarqué les nombreuses critiques que tu as reçue. C'est réalisé avec une belle maitrise. La diagonale et la personne sur l'allée donnent la mesure de ce chateau. Mais quelle est cette grosse mouche au dessus du toit ? Je crois que je l'aurais gommée.

Mieux vaut tard que jamais... je viens te féliciter pour ta 400e image sur TE. Pour l'occasion je vois que tu ne te refuses rien et que tu t'offres carrément un château!
La façade est bien ensoleillée et invite à la visite. Bon cadrage avec cette verdure au premier plan et cet angle de prise de vue.
Je me réjouis de découvrir les 400 prochaines photos.
