The church

The church of Mérinville, dedicated under the word of holy Laurent and saint Aignan, date of the beginning of the XIIIth century and was restored in the XVth century, after the damages undergone during the One hundred years war. It is in this time when was added the hall (registered on the supplementary inventory of ancient memorials in 1929) and the skeleton of which was restored in 1991.
In the XIXth century the wooden, traditional vault in the region, was replaced by a brick-built, coated vault.
The furniture, classified, dates the XIXth century and includes, among others, a bars of choir, a lectern and a crucifixion curiously squat and muscular, surmounted by the registration " INRI " of a surprising size.
