Photographer's Note

In Loiret department, Gien is a small town of a little more than 15 000 hts with 1H30 in the south of Paris. Overhanging the banks of the Loire, the last large wild river of Europe, Gien reveals the vestiges of its prestigious past through monuments like the church Sainte Jeanne d' Arc (modern, out of bricks of two tone in harmony with the castle of Anne de Beaujeu who shelters the international Museum of hunting. Gien is also known for its prestigious faience manufacture and its stone bridge of 12 arches (XIIIeme century).
