I have the nostlagia of one of these old sinuous and uninhabited roads which lead outside cities... a road which leads to the borders of the ground... where the spirit is free...

This is a very clever composition; the main path serves as our main lead-in but you have supplemented that by including the dip in the ground, (bottom left)which joins with the path and the fence too. You're right about the nostalgia; where will the path take us?

une petite route qui est dans un paysage qui donne effectivement l'envie d'avoir l'esprit libre, avec une belle lumière comme celle qui donne les ombres reposantes sur le chemin, et dire qu'il y en a qui sont a la retraite et qui profite de coin comme celui la et d'autre qui travaille enfermé dans un bureau, ah.......

Une image idyllique celle qui nous présentes ici. Le paysage est charmant et profond, il paraît une peinture, il a des arbres très beaux, des clôtures qui séparent les domaines du chemin sinueux et agréable, qui invite à nous marcher tranquillement en jouissant de cette atmosphère. L'illumination et les couleurs sont fantastiques.
Une très belle photo, j'aime beaucoup.

Un semi-contre jour très agréable où la lumière n'est pas trop dure.
Je ferai bien quelques kilomètres à pied pour m'ôter le stress de la ville.

On dirait prèsque un image de chez nous avec le paysage si plat. Difficile à dire si cette photo est une photo du début du printemps ou fin de l'automne... c'est un peu une période de transition mais je suis content de savoir que le printemps est enfin arrivé. Bien fait, je trouve la ruelle donne une certaine dynamisme et de profondeur; tu l'as bien placée dans ta compo. Très belles couleurs.

Salut Philippe. A simple photo that seems to lack a clear focal point at first sight, but on the other hand it succeeds quite well in transmitting the peaceful contryside mood. The winding road is well used to apply structure to the frame, and the lighting is well handled. Greetings from Nagoya.

Hi Philippe,
There can be few things more exhilarating than taking a lonely country road, with no specific destination...Good lighting and shadows here, as well as the POV with the lane intersecting the little road. The DOF is also good, allowing the eye to wander hungrily to the distant trees and buildings. A timeless shot, with a hint of spring and freedom of the road...

Je serais tenté de dire " c'est ça la France " ...
celle de nos racines en tout cas , comme toutes ces vieilles pierres , ces vieux villages . Il en reste quand même pas mal de ces coins de campagne pas encore encombrés des avantages du progrès , ne soyons pas si nostalgiques ! .

Well, right now I am in the middle of the biggest city in Latin America, and your photo brings very fond memories to me. The landscape is very reminiscent of some rural areas in Argentina, in the "pampas" region; even the fence with tree branches and wires... and of course, the road leading into the horizon.

Very nice and evocative (for me) image Philippe!

As always in your photos, the exposure, light and colors look superb.
