Family spirit
The birth of foals is taking place in spring. After 11 months and 11 days, the mare became nervous and isolated for foaling. At birth, the little already weighs 40 kg, immediately, the mother licks to clean and stimulate breathing.
A quarter of an hour, the foal stands awkwardly on his legs to suckle colostrum. At 1 month, the colt has already doubled her weight and about 5 to 6 months after his withdrawal, he has quintupled. Accordingly, he spent most of his time outside to graze and eat hay, sleeping 5 to 6 hours per day, standing on three legs, the fourth slightly bent.
