Invitation to the castle Photo

Photographer’s Note

Philippe (papagolf21) already published a marvellous sight of this castle (in Conflans-on-Loing). The small tower after the grids of entry must be pigeon or entout case a small dependence of the castle. This place located in full shift is a place filled with charm which points out a little the writings of Alain Fournier in "Le grand Meaulnes".

Photo très bien équilibrée. Le portail ouvert nous incite à la visite. Le petit édifice à gauche est bien mis en valeur par une bonne luminosité.

Je me suis permis sur WS une petite retouche afin d'enlever la chaîne située à l'entrée. (cf nos échanges sur le clônage).

Bonjour, mon ami Christian,
bon cadrage, mo'aime la porte décentrée et située à un côté de l'image, en donnant une perspective différente à l'entrée de ce château.
La tour circulaire face à nos yeux est un bon complément graphique à cette bonne composition. Et tout entouré d'une végétation splendide.
Belle photo avec de bonne lumière et belles couleurs.

I liek this wonderfull composition with the crossing, you have added good depth of colour with Tower and criss cross of the path.Your Pov is nicely chosen and your image has nice natural colors.

Et bien il fait beau là-bas. Ce n'est pas comme chez nous :-(
Un bon cadrage qui met l'entrée de ce château à l'avant-plan.
La lumière et les couleurs sont très belles.
De jolis contrastes entre la végétation et ces pierres et fers forgés.

Christian, tu composes de mieux en mieux tes photos. Celle-ci est un petit chef d'oeuvre dans le genre. La tour est bien placée ainsi que le portail. C'est le chemin qui fat le lien. On a également une double perspective qui a beaucoup d'allure.

I like the double pathway as it provides us with two lead-in lines. We can follow the path ahead into the dark mysterious forest, or we can go with you into the castle grounds. You chose an unusual but effective POV with the gates angled on the right. Good work.

We try a very lovely U in this picture to see, both roads gives excellent lines and depth too, a pity to left that the dark tunnel on the end of way something dark for looking, but I find this a very lovely picture Christian!

Well composed with good light and shadow effects. The eye is taken nicely both straight ahead and then on the diverged path to the right. The little tower is a lone bastion, strongly anchoring the scene. I might have cropped some of the foreground so that the empty gravel walkway space was reduced. Well captured.

c'est finalement osé de mettre en avant sur une photo, l'entrée seule du Château. Le résultat est intéressant, cadrage, composition avec les grilles et la tour donnent une bonne photo qui invite a en voir un peu plus ...

Rien que le cadrage est une invitation à pénetrer en ce lieu. Mais que se cache t'il donc derrière ces grilles?

The two paths work well here and add additional interest to the viewer. I like the small tower as it is a nice feature, and anchors the composition well. The side angle to the gate is also a good feature as it gives an angled dimension to the scene. Nice colouring and exposure. Well done.

Bonjour Christian, une fois encore, j'admire beaucoup le résultat que tu as obtenu avec la gestion de l’exposition pour de magnifiques effets graphiques et le bon jeu d‘ombres et de lumière qui en découle, je trouve fort esthétique le mur de l’entrée à droite et le sentier dans les mêmes tons, ainsi que la tour au coloris jaune- ambré elle aussi formant un mimétisme parfait avec le chemin tout proche, le cadrage est simple et plaisant avec cette perspective linéaire qui nous emmène directe au fond de l'image, très bel angle de prise de vue, ce qui m’interpellent également c’est ce petit muret qui ne doit pas mesurer beaucoup plus de 50 centimètres, ce qui libère la vue sur cet espace immense au rendu hautement photogénique, bien amicalement

The angle is beautiful with the small tower anchoring the scene. The shadows in the FG leads to the two paths, both with destination unknown..that's the mystery. I also like how the gate is at a diagonal...beautifully composed

Le titre est juste. L'invitation est là, avec cette grille ouverte. Bon, il y a une chaine, mais ce n'est pas trop grave...
