Photographer’s Note

CONFLANS, this so pretty village, close to Ouanne, with its Church surrounded of the cemetery like formerly, under the term of Pierre Saint to the Bonds. The church seems to go up in XIIème century by the blind arcade of the door of the frontage and the first two windows at midday, of which is stopped with the top of the small door. It Was dedicated To Saint Ambroise.

Nice and attractive presentation from this little village Philippe. Looks very peaceful in this fine setting.
...of course also here the inclusion of a church.

ton cadrage est très chouette
et l'ambiance très champêtre
avec les massifs de fleurs.
le grillage, pas très esthétique, appporte un certain dynamisme dans la diagonale et se fond tout de même dans l'ambiance.

Un joli endroit pour boire tranquillement un verre ou un café, les fleurs et les vieux bâtiments donnent un sentiment tranquille, je tiens de ces endroits tranquilles.

Nice countryside shot Philippe. I like the way you captured this green corner: very good perspective and nice colours added by the bush of flowers. Good depth with the net leading the eye to the BG where the beautiful house is located.

Bonjour Philippe,
Un bel arbre, une belle maison, un beau jardin. Le grillage est un peu moins heureux, mais décoré de fleurs il permet d'amener notre regard vers la maison et l'église tout au fond.
Je ne sais pas si c'est moi, mais j'ai l'impression que ça penche très légèrement vers la droite.

Une belle perspective avec sette ligne de grillage qui amène agréablement l'oeil vers les jolies habitations de l'arrière plan. Une belle lumière et de très belles couleurs pour un cliché bien agréable. Merci du partage de ce petit morceau de campagne !

Voila bien longtemps que je ne vous avez pas lu ici ;o)
TRès jolie photo de ce petit village qui a su garder tout son charme. Plutot marrant ce cadrage avec ce grillage qui apporte beaucoup de profondeur et l'église tout au fond. Des couleurs très naturelles, j'adore !!

Le titre pourrait faire croire qu'il s'agit d'un cottage "british" !
Superbe endroit. Belles couleurs et superbe lumière, le cliché est vraiment très net, parfaite profondeur de champ.
J'aurais peut-être tenté d'éviter trop de cloture au premier plan. Question de gout !
Bien vu en tous cas !

When I saw the thumbnail, this picture made me think of a landscape painting from the, let's say, 18/19th century. But when I saw the fence the painting disappeared, but the beautiful picture stayed.

Salut Philippe. A delightful summer photo with nice colors, and an appropriate choice of the vertical format. The green fence going around the corner offers a nice perspective, and I am not surprised to see a church tower in the background :)

hi philippe, im not too sure about this one, i do not like this fence, for me its really ugly, it is a nice POV and with a more attractive fence would be much better, and of course its well composed as ever, with your pictures, i look forward to your next!

Belle prise et de belles couleurs Philippe, juste un petit peu dommage pour la clôture qui n'est pas esthétique, mais enfin la scène est quand même jolie et bien présenté.

Belles couleurs, belle lumière, belle netteté. Par contre j'ai un peu du mal avec le grillage au premier plan. J'aurais aimé plus de ciel pour enlever le bas de l'image.

A well composed shot reminding us of the waning days of summer. The flowers nicely contrast with the grass. The village is seen as snug and peaceful adjoining the lovely fields. A pity that the green fence is so modern, but at least its green! I like your POV, showing each side of the fence. Well captured.

Bonjour Philippe,
Sur le grillage n'est pas très joli, mais je préfère ce cliché au WS, dans cette composition, le grillage a son importance et comme le dit si bien ZEPI le regard surf dessus et donne une très jolie photo et c'est en effet bien vu.
Joli petit village bien net.

Bonne prise. Je vois directement que c'est un village très agréable. Belles maisons, plein de fleurs et d'agréables couleurs. Bon pdv avec les fleurs jaunes qui nous dirigent vers le village. Un peu dommage pour la fermeture Bekaert (qui est une firme belge, je sais que je ne m'exprime pas très patriotique ici) qui est d'une excellente qualité, mais une fermeture en bois serait plus à sa place ici (point de vu esthétique). Mais évidement ceci n'est pas le boulot du photographe. Tu as fais très bien ici. Je reviens.

An old gem...good use of the fence as perspective. The colourful flowers in the FG are a great add. The depth is excellent leading us right upto the steeple of the church in the BG.
